Used some leftovers from yesterday's icad and added old ledger paper, music paper, cardstock and old picture.  Inked edges and added ribbon.

I did this after having a discussion with granddaughter about money.  I did background paper piecing a receipt from an old receipt book, used play money to finish off.

PostCard #26 - USA

This week find us in the good old USA....which is where I live.  I chose to picture my front yard as the front of my postcard.

This was a picture I took of the dogwood trees in bloom in the Spring and you can barely see my house from the trees.

Finally after all that traveling we are back in the USA visiting Bill's grandparents in Evansville, IN.
We traveled here to tell them they are going to be Great-Grandparents in September.  Postcard is actual photo of their home.  Bill has such fond memories of this home.  Hugs & kisses to John, Andrew & isabella. Love and Kisses .... Zoey.

This did not scan well because of rosette.  This again was a piece of paper towel from granddaughter's watercolor.   Added a clip from magazine of flowers and added a rosette with a button added.....inked the edges.

Today's ICAD was made using a piece of paper towel my granddaughter, Holli, used while she was watercoloring while staying with us for a few days.  I hated throwing it in the trash so I told her I would save it and use it on my cards.  I added a few foam titles, her name and inked the edges.
I have one more great piece to use on a card. Need to find a few items to go with it for tomorrow.

This was another Use It Up project.  I am going through my  stash piles of scraps, bits and pieces of this and that and using it up..

Nothing new is purchased to make this project.

ICAD #25 was using a prompt - use a fortune from a fortune cookie.  Just so happened we
had Chinese lunch Saturday and this was my fortune:  You are the master of every situation.

Paper pieced the backing and inked the edges....quick and easy.

This was another Use It Up project (except for my fortune which came with lunch).

I used the prompt - Snowman.....I paper pieced the snow hill and blue sky, stamped pine trees, added snow flakes and added a snowman.

#23 was paper added to card, stamped design on card using stencil, added flower packet to use as a pocket, made a tag, inked and stamped , ribbon added.  Computer title added to pocket.

Today's ICAD reflects our temperature today.....Hot Hot.....paper piece, inking and piece of burlap.

Postcard #25 - Australia

This week finds us in Australia.  I did all kinds of researching....the flag, kangaroos and boomerangs.  I then went and checked out my old National Geographics and found an article about Australia.  One of the pictures I found was of a Salt Lake in Australia.  I thought ..... looks like something I could do with water colors....and I wanted to use them more than I have.  So the Salt Lake.....not very colorful but  something I thought I could handle.

Dear Ann:  I can't believe it has been almost a year since I started working with Bill.  We are having a great time working together & traveling.  We are in Australia-----Down Under.  I could stay here forever.  It is absolutely beautiful.  We saw the Salt Lakes today & Kangaroos tomorrow.  Hugs & kisses to John, Andrew & Isabella  Love and kisses....Zoey.

Postcard #24 - Italy

This week finds us in Italy.  Postcard front:

Busy this week with grandkids baseball tournaments and ball games so I took the easy way out.
I created a paper pieced flag, used letter stickers and picture from a food magazine.  Simple but I am keeping up......may get behind.....2 more tournaments this weekend and next and then going on vacation.  We shall see what happens.

Catching up scanning my ICADs.  Ball game tournaments for grandkids kept me away from computer most of the weekend.
