ICAD #58 and 59
ICAD #58:
Background and embellishment was made from paper toweling that I used in a class at my local scrapbook store given by Jen Starr. We made a gatefold album and used a ton of glimmer mist.
Paper toweling was used under my project. Added a few other items and inked.
ICAD #59:
This ICAD did not turn out very well. I am not a good rubber stamper but I wanted to try the image out. I stamped directly on the paper and had to stamp again and cut it out and glue over the top of the image on the paper. I also tried lettering using 2 distress markers but I did not like the results of that either. I figured this was a good way to experiment and learning from my mistakes.

ICAD #56 & 57
Busy week for me so I worked on this one while sitting at my computer working on Christmas ideas and decided to do a fast ICAD using green and red markers.
ICAD #56:
ICAD #57:
I was unpacking my bag from a class and grabbed a hand full of markers and did some lines and doodle lines......
These are not great but I just wanted to keep up....so I decided something easy was better than nothing.

ICAD #49, 50, 51 and 52
I decided to try using some chalk inks I have but never use to do the next few cards.
ICAD #49:
Just tried blotting the ink from stamp pad and then used a stencil......ugly.
ICAD #50:
This one I tried using the chalk ink to form a flower and leaves.
ICAD #51:
Got rid of the chalk inks and used a stencil to make a bee and stencil the honey comb.
Markers are more brillant colored than the chalk inks.
ICAD #52:
Used Old dictionary paper and part of an old card....same stencil I used earlier in the week.

Here is my new storage for ribbon and trims:
Purchased cone thread holder and wooden spools at yard sale for $2.50. Makes a nice holder for ribbon and trims.

Postcard #29 - Ireland
This week finds us in Ireland. I did a simple postcard. Used my cricut to cut out letters, inked and stamped a little on the card. Very simple but it keeps me going.
Front of Postcard:
Back of Postcard:
Postcard reads:
Dear Zoey:
Hope all is well with you, Bill and Baby Sophia. It is so much fun being best friends and mothers together. I got an assignment from the newspaper to do some research in Ireland and was able to bring the family along with me. Beautiful country. Love....hugs...kisses to you, bill and Sophia. ANN
So the story continues and Zoey and Bill had a baby Girl.....SOPHIA.
This was another UIU postcard......nothing purchased to make this card. Everything used was in my stash.

Postcard #28 - Germany
Most of this week I was on vacation and did not have time to make a great postcard.
I just threw it together because I have a fear of getting so far behind I will give up. So nothing fancy but I did get it done.
Front:
Back:
postcard reads:
Dear Ann: Thanks for inviting Zoey to stay with you while I make this quick trip to Berlin, Germany to finalize the details of the new company contract. I was worried about having to leave Zoey but I know she loves you and your family and will be well cared for while I am gone. Thank you see you next week. Bill.
