This week finds us in France. While doing my fashion research about France, I learned that the bikini swimsuit was created in the summer of 1946 by 2 French fashion designers, Jack Heim & Louis Reard. So in honor of my fashion shoot theme, I created a yellow polka dotted bikini with ribbon trim and bling belly button. The background of the postcard is the Notre Dame Gardens.
Postscard front:
My story lines continues with Zoey sending postcard to Ann who lives in Utica, NY. Postscard reads:
Nov. 11, 1986
Dear Ann:
Ooh La La ... Paris, France, for another fashion shoot. I am staying an extra week to see
all of the fabulouis sights, museums and of course shopping. Did you know the bikini swimsuit was created in the summer of 1946 by 2 French fashion designers, Jack Heim & Louis Reard. I was so happy to meet baby Andrew on our visit in June. Give my love to John and baby Andrew. Off to explore the streets of Paris.
Love and kisses....Zoey
Back of Postcard:
So the story progresses for these 2 college roommates. Ann lives in Utica, NY (lovely town I visited on a vacation). She is a newspaper columnist for her local newspaper. She married John and now has a baby boy named Andrew. Zoey on the other hand lives in New York City (also visited on a vacation) but spends her time traveling around doing fashion shoots as she is a fashion photographer. Zoey has a wonderful job traveling the world.....but so far there is no love in her live. (We may have to fix this.)
Thanks Darcy for the challenge.....can't wait to see where we go next week.
