ICAD #7

ICAD # 7:
Today's card was made with acrylic paint which was spread around with a tooth pick and then brushed over.  Not much to it very simple.

Again a UIU project.

ICAD #6

Here is today's ICAD:
I saw these colors on a sign posted for a painting company...there were words across the middle for the paint company information.  I wanted to check the colors  out and see what I could do with them.  Doodles came to mind so this is what I ended up with.  Quick and simple.

Again this was a UIU project.

ICAD #5

Very Simple today as I have a free Art Journaling 101 Class today at the local library.  This is a 4 week class.  I hope to learn a lot.  These were suggested supplies:

Simple.....working on gathering supplies......wrote down recommended supplies, used a few markers and that is all of the time I had today for ICAD.

ICAD #3

Today was short and sweet as you will see by the card we are going to be busy today:

We have 3 grandkids playing ball today.  Dylan in Red is playing at Noon, Holli in purple is playing at 4 PM and big brother Jacob in Navy is playing at 5:30 PM.  Only good things is today all games are at the home fields so we will just move from field to field.
This again was a UIU (use it up) project everything used was in my stash.

ICAD #2

Here is a picture of  June 2, 2012 ICAD #2:
A little blurry.  This is a tribute to Tim Holtz.  I used his picture off of the back of one of his inks I purchased, a die cut from his gear die and a die spool from another one of his dies.  I die cut scissors and painted them to look like his scissors.

This was another UIU project which means everything used to make this ICAD was items I had in my stash....nothing new was purchased.  I USED IT UP.

ICAD #1

Today is the first day of ICAD.  Here is my card #1:

My first attempt at ICAD was a quick paper piece using old pieces of a bingo card and dictionary paper.  Edges were inked and collage material was added to the card.

This was another UIU (USE IT UP) project only used items I had in my stash.
